Blagdon Farm is in the heart of unspoilt rural west Devon, yet only 1.5 miles from Ashwater village with its post office, traditional inn and church. Centrally located, it provides easy access to both the north and south coasts, but your own transport really is necessary here.

Reached via its own private road and nestling in 12 acres of its own beautiful countryside, Blagdon Farm Country Holidays is situated in a peaceful and picturesque location. Enjoying far reaching views it offers a truly calm and peaceful environment to ensure a restful and relaxing holiday..

Five miles away is the ancient town of Holsworthy with its pretty market square, village shops and new Somerfield supermarket,(soon to be Waitrose). Ten miles away is Launceston, the ancient capital of and acknowledged gateway to Cornwall, sitting astride the A30 one mile from the Devon/ Cornwall border, in an area of considerable beauty and charm with its own castle, range of shops and a large Tesco for all your shopping needs.

Fifteen miles away are the famous surf beaches of Bude and Widemouth. Tintagel and the picturesque fishing port of Padstow, home to Rick Stein's famous fish restaurant, are also in easy reach, as are the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Rosemoor Gardens and of course the famous Eden Project. Though many guests seem to just enjoy the tranquillity, the views over our lake and dinner in 'Freddy's' our licensed bar/restaurant.
