From the M5 leave the motorway at Junction 31 and take the A30 towards Bodmin and Okehampton for about 25 miles until the Launceston turning.
 
Pass through Launceston taking the A388 to Holsworthy.
 
The turning for the A388 to Holsworthy isn't very well signposted in Launceston.
 
After leaving the A30 follow the signs for Holsworthy. Proceed down the hill next to the Castle.
 
At the small roundabout (just after the BP garage on your right) turn right.
 
Immediately there is another small roundabout with a Spar store on the right.
 
Take the road straight ahead which isn't signposted (don't take the left hand turn to Bude).
 
You are now on the A388 road to Holsworthy and you have 8 miles to go (see the map below).
 
Continue on for about 6 miles, passing through St Giles on the Heath and Chapman's Well.
 
Do not turn at the first signpost to Ashwater but take the next right, on the elbow of a sharp left hand bend, at the "Blagdon Manor 1 mile" & "Blagdon Farm" brown tourist sign, also signed to Ashwater & Halwill.
 
After half a mile turn right again at Blagdon Lodge and you will find us 300 yds further on this road on the right.
