Why not treat yourself to a midweek or weekend break out of the peak holiday season at Blagdon Farm?
Blagdon Farm is an ideal place to stay at anytime of the year, whether for a week, weekend or mid-week break. The indoor heated hydro-therapy swimming pool (maintained at 93°F (33.8°C)) is open all year and eat-in or take-away meals are available by request from our Bistro. The Games room is heated and there are plenty of books, puzzles, as well as a pool table and table tennis for the energetic.
Visiting Devon and Cornwall out of the peak holiday season is a whole new experience. Without the crowds encountered in the summer months access to the port villages and towns, the countryside and those attractions open all year are free from the queues.
The Eden Project is open all year and has seasonal attractions such as concerts and talks, or you can spend a day just sitting and admiring the varied plants. Rosemoor RHS Gardens is open all year, and is a slowly changing treasure - a garden for all the senses, ideal for photography. Watching the surfers at Widemouth Bay (just south of Bude) as the sea crashes onto the shore on a windy winters day is exhilarating, visit a seaside port town, or just sit and take in the views and wildlife from the comfort of your cottage.
For an extra romantic break why not order a bottle of champagne and chocolates or flowers?
For 2009 we will be open for Christmas and the New Year but you will need to book early.
Unless otherwise arranged weekend breaks are from Friday to Monday and mid-week breaks are from Monday to Friday.
